Dear Parents

We are almost at the end of the first term and what an eventful one it has been with mini walks, photos, tuck-shop day and our CANSA Sprayathon.

Mini Walk

Thank you so much for the money already collected. R2000 has gone towards purchasing new buckets, spades, hoops, bats and balls. There is no time limit as to when the sponsored money is handed in, so please don’t think that you are late.

Special Events – R100

Remember that this amount is used to cover at least one educational show / visit to the school per term (i.e. ± R25 per child per term). This amount can also be paid at your convenience. Our first show is a puppet show on Tuesday 23rd March – “Easter Bunny Looses His Eggs”.

Ambulance (084 124) – a number to remember

Last week, Danni’s father, Hugh Price Hughes organized an ambulance to come and visit the school. All children were allowed to sit inside and were shown the equipment, and of course all the flashing lights and the siren was the most exciting part.

CANSA Sprayathon

Thank you so much to all the parents for supporting this worthy cause. You raised an awesome R944.00. A very impressive effort, as it was done at such short notice. Thanks to Cara Woollacott for this great suggestion and for supplying the hair spray and depositing the money for us.

School Photo’s

As soon as the samples are delivered you will be given an order form and envelope.

2010 Soccer World Cup

To get into the spirit, every Friday children can wear a soccer shirt representing any country or something that is proudly South African, but PLEASE at NO EXTRA COST to you, a picture of soccer players or a flag will be great.
