Our baby Care

We pride ourselves in our beautifully painted nursery and playroom, which creates a bright and stimulating atmosphere for our little ones. Our aim is to provide a home from home environment and our dedicated staff will ensure that your baby gets the best love and care.  Our baby group is completely separated from our senior group and we take babies from 3 months old and provide age appropriate stimulation and developmental play activities.

Our Program Incorporates:-

  • Our daily routine is flexible as babies needs differ from child to child.  However, routine is important to ensure that the babies feel safe and secure.

  • We start the day off with breakfast on arrival, followed by play time and then a morning nap.

  • It is then time for exciting stimulation.  This includes physical exercise such as ball play, movement to music, outdoors in the sandpit, crawling and encouraging them to take their first steps.  Mental exercise such as building blocks, phones, activity centres, spinning tops, rings and hoops, etc and listening skills such as stories, music and story tapes as well as visual exercises.  Even babies love to look at books!  Our mobiles are also very entertaining and relaxing. 

Our Menu

  • At lunch time we introduce solids, depending upon age and also after consultation with the parents.  We cater for all tastes and needs and our staff will keep you updated should there be any change in your baby’s eating habits. We will supply Purity foods and cereals and will introduce solid foods, depending on the age,

  • You need to supply sterilized prepared bottles and measured out formula in plastic containers.

You Supply

  • You need to supply sterilized prepared bottles and measured out formula in plastic containers, dummies, disposable nappies, wet wipes, cream, powder, change of clothes and a clean blanket and sheet for your baby’s cot on a weekly basis.

 

General Information

  • Our staff are trained in First Aid and child care.

  • We have convenient operating hours and are open all year closing only from mid December to early January.

Full Day

R1,800.00 per month
7.00am to 5.30pm

Half day 

R1,570.00 per month 
7.00am to 1.30pm
Registration Fee R150.00

 

Wishing Wells Baby Care provides a wonderful platform for babies to develop physically, emotionally and socially.  They are able to progress into the Wishing Wells Nursery School “Red Ladybird Class” at the age of 15 months.  From there it is the “Yellow Bears Class” at the age of 3 – 4 years, then the “Green Frogs Class” age 4 – 5 years and finally the “Blue Dolphin Class” which is
Grade 0.
