General Information

We have four large classrooms, 3 bathrooms.  A well shaded play area, two sandpits and a cycle track.  Separate area with clambering / climbing apparatus.  A variety of outdoor toys, bikes, balls, building blocks, water play and dress up clothes.

 

 

Children are divided into groups according to age.

Our Terms & Structure

  • Monthly Statements are sent out at the end of the month via each child’s class pocket.

  • A 10% discount is offered if two siblings are enrolled at Wishing Wells Nursery School.

  • The school must be notified as soon as possible of any changes of address or telephone number.

  • A spare set of clothes must be sent with your child every day.  Accidents do happen!

  • The principal and teachers are always prepared to talk to parents, but it would be appreciated if any interviews could be arranged by appointment.

  • The formal nursery school is relaxed during the GDE school holidays and our Holiday program is followed during this period.

  • Wishing Wells Nursery School remains open throughout the year, with the exception of the 3 – 4 weeks over the Christmas/New Year period and public holidays.

  • An independent clinical psychologist will conduct School Readiness Testing (at cost to the parents) for Grade 0 children during their final year at nursery school.  The Grade 0 class follows a highly specialized program, which follows the GED Grade 0 curriculum with the introduction to THRASS.

  • Educational shows and entertainment are arranged throughout the year and you will be advised of any costs prior to the activity.  No children will be excluded from these activities, regardless whether monies have been received.

  • Fund raising events eg Valentines Raffle, Easter Parade Mini Walk are held through out the year.  Money raised is used to replenish and upgrade Wishing Wells Nursery School.

  • Newsletters go out to all parents via their child class pockets on a monthly basis.

  • A professional photographer takes individual and class photos photographs – once a year and this is an optional service to our parents.

  • We are connected to Armed Response and we have a security guard on duty outside the premises at all times.

  • Grade 0 & Grade 00 (Blue Dolphins & Green Frogs) are asked to supply a stationery pack.  You will be advised of contents and cost at the close of our December term.

Full Day R1900.00 per month over 11 months
Half Day R1650.00 per month over 11 months
Registration R180.00

 

Fees will increase in July.
